Y SE RESOLVIERON El primer "cierre" se registró en 1976 durante los últimos meses del gobierno republicano de Gerald Ford, luego de que éste se negara a aprobar un aumento del presupuesto del Departamento de Trabajo y de la cartera de Salud, Educación y Bienestar Social.
Duró 10 días, pero abrió una temporada de continuos enfrentamientos entre la Casa Blanca y el Capitolio en Washington.
El período más conflictivo se concentró durante el gobierno siguiente, de Jimmy Carter, en la segunda mitad de la década de 1970, según consigna ANSA.
El entonces presidente demócrata enfrentó cinco "cierres" entre octubre de 1977 y octubre de 1979, que duraron desde 8 hasta 18 días y coincidieron con la llamada segunda crisis internacional del petróleo y uno de los momentos más tensos de la historia reciente de Estados Unidos.
El eje del conflicto fue el uso de fondos públicos para la realización de abortos.
Durante la década del `80 el entonces presidente republicano Ronald Reagan enfrentó ocho "cierres" del gobierno federal, pero todos fueron relativamente cortos y la mitad no llegó a durar un día entero.
Las disputas entre los poderes Ejecutivo y Legislativo continuaron con su sucesor, el también republicano George Bush padre, aunque sólo llegaron a la situación límite de vencer el plazo del año fiscal y "cerrar" las funciones "no esenciales" del gobierno federal una vez durante tres días.
Pese al largo historial de "cierres" del gobierno estadounidense, el antecedente que estuvo en la mente de dirigentes y ciudadanos en estos últimos días fue el que sufrió el ex presidente demócrata Bill Clinton entre fines de 1995 y principios de 1996, el último y más largo de la historia del país.
Clinton ya había sufrido un "cierre" de cinco días en noviembre de 1995, impulsado por la bancada republicana que reclamaba un plan a largo plazo de equilibrio presupuestario.
Pero fue recién a mediados de diciembre de ese año, a menos de un año de las elecciones presidenciales, que la confrontación entre demócratas y republicanos alcanzó una tensión poco usual, que llevó al gobierno federal a "cerrar" durante 21 días.................
DONALD JOY Deadly Capitol Mayhem: Why Did Miriam Carey Travel From Connecticut to D.C.?
Wild speculation abounds regarding today’s bizarre and fatal encounter today between various federal police agencies and a 34-year-old dental hygienist from Stamford, Connecticut, who beginning at 2:14 p.m. was first involved in some kind of confrontation at one of the White House gates.
With her infant daughter inside her black Infiniti luxury sports coupe, the driver, an attractive, pleasant-looking (based on her Facebook photos published by various news outlets, and a photo found on her employer’s website) African-American woman by the name of Miriam Carey, ran down a U.S. Secret Service officer with the car as she abruptly turned the car around after pulling up to the gate, then crashed away from the scene, jeopardizing the lives of numerous responding police and others as she raced at high speed toward Capitol Hill.
Even though police opened fire on her when she again crashed away from being momentarily boxed in by police as she neared The Hill, Carey eventually made it as far as the Hart senate office building adjacent to the Capitol, where her vehicle finally came to a stop by some concrete barricades after police opened fire a second time, killing her.
Fortunately, it is being reported by major news outlets that Carey’s daughter, estimated at between one and two years old, is okay. Conflicting reports are pouring in as to whether the child was injured in the melee or not, however all reports concur in saying that she is now safe and in protective custody, having been extricated from the car and carried away by police.
Much of the insane, violent chase was captured on video by a nearby TV crew, and was broadcast across news networks soon after the whole incident came to a close.
Like a scene out of a Hollywood action movie, part of the drama unfolded on camera–replete with police in vehicles and on foot closing in around the suspect’s briefly motionless car near the Capitol, seeming to trap her. Carey then suddenly crashed into a police cruiser in reverse, then gunned her coupe toward, then away from, the numerous officers who had drawn and pointed their weapons at her as they surrounded her car on foot, ordering her to desist and surrender. She defied them and almost ran officers over as she sped off, followed immediately by an audible barrage of police gunfire.
Whether any of those officers who had surrounded Carey’s car were able to see that there was a small child inside the car is, at this point, still an open question. If so, controversy is heaped on to what would otherwise be considered a clear-cut, justified use of deadly force situation.
A car can itself be considered a deadly weapon, and when an officer’s or anyone else’s life is threatened by someone behind the wheel, stopping the driver with gunfire, if realistically possible, is warranted. However, if attempting to do so causes a greater risk to the lives of innocents, reasonable officers should make that much more attempt to otherwise simply evade the threat, while minimizing the likelihood of grave harm to bystanders, hostages, and so on.Secret Service and Capitol Police chiefs and spokespeople are being fairly tight-lipped about details of the incident, despite a couple of very short press conferences having been held this afternoon and evening. They set a somewhat understandably defensive tone, saying that their officers acted properly, given the unknown exact motives of the suspect, and the unknown extent of the threat posed by the rapidly unfolding situation at a time of heightened political tension in D.C. over the government shutdown deadlock, and lingering conditions related to terrorism threats and recent mass-shootings.So in the absence of reliable and specific information, the speculations spin wildly on internet forums, while more serious theories emerge from bits and pieces of information trickling in from Carey’s home state.What was Miriam Carey doing in Washington, D.C., anyway? Why did she come all the hundreds of miles from Connecticut?
Ordinary tourists don’t normally drive their cars up to the heavily fortified and staffed White House security gates, with small children inside, and then suddenly get into confrontations with the Secret Service, crashing over barriers and careening away as they bounce an officer off their car’s hood and onto the pavement, as witnesses are reported (by the Washington Post) to have described the scene. Witnesses are also reported to have described the guard who challenged Carey to be highly agitated and loud in his exhortations and warnings as she failed to stop or heed him: ”The Secret Service guy was having a cow,” a man named B. J. Campbell said, “yelling at her and banging on the car.”
The New York Daily News obtained a statement from Carey’s former employer, Dentist Brian Evans, who said that Carey “fell down some stairs and had a pretty significant head injury” during the two years she worked for him. Otherwise, Evans said, despite some media reports of Carey having mental issues, when he let her go from her job last year, “it was nothing related to any mental problems that we were in tune to.” Evans said that “there was never insubordination per se or anything like that, but she tended to go against the grain a bit.” It was revealed by Evans that Carey discovered she was pregnant while hospitalized after her head injury, and that she “seemed happy.”Some of the theories being batted around on internet forums are outlandishly eerie. People have remarked that today, Oct. 3rd 2013, is the twentieth anniversary of the infamous “Blackhawk Down” military misadventure involving U.S. forces in Mogadishu, Somalia, and that the Miriam Carey is rumored to be of Somali descent. Simultaneously, it has been noted that not too long ago Carey lived in Brooklyn, New York, the same place Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis was born and raised–and that they were both 34 years old.Other sketchy theories have to do with the confrontation at the White House gate, and whether–in the utter lack of any other compelling information to go on–the incident stemmed from some kind of domestic/paternity issue concerning Carey and a Secret Service officer, or some distress and derangement on the part of Carey regarding federal benefits, the government shutdown, and/or the botched, pricey, partial-birth mis-launch of Obamacare, and so on.
Never ones to miss an opportunity to grotesquely pounce on a crisis, at least two democrats in the House of Representatives (one of them the notorious Sheila Jackson Lee) have sought to exploit the incident in debate on the House floor, saying that it was directly the result of the opposing party’s stand regarding funding of Obamacare, and the ongoing deadlock over government operations.
I expect that we’ll know more about Miriam Carey in short order, and why she drove herself to her untimely end in the heart of our Capitol. Until we do, things remain very tense here, for reasons beyond her mysterious, deadly road rage.

Uno de ustedes me llamó para que viera la televisión sobre el incidente de Washington.
Escuché la noticia en radio, televisión y el internet. Había confusión y es de entender.
Pero usualmente siempre hacen una descripción de la persona que ha causado el problema. Casi siempre dicen si era caucásica, hispana, oriental o afroamericana. Pero la descripción de los hechos en las noticias no incluía esta descripción étnica que sin lugar a dudas tenía de haber sido evidente para todos los periodistas en el lugar de los hechos.. Todavía a las cuatro de la tarde no se sabía nada de la identidad o la descripción de la mujer. Solamente que era una mujer con un niño.
Me puse a ver el juego de pelota de los play-offs, cuando acabaron a las 8 pm y fui a la internet en AOL, el Huffington Post hacia una detallada información del hecho y de la persona, su nombre su ocupación y como siempre en estos casos que los vecinos decían que era una persona muy feliz y agradable. Pero nada de su raza, ni una foto, que debían de tener ya en sus manos..
Tuve que incursionar en un periódico que leo de vez en cuando, el Daily News de New York y dijo en la noticia que era Miriam Carey, 34, una higienista dental que vivió en Brooklyn, que llevaba una vida seclusa, que era una madre soltera y que tenía una historia de problemas mentales. Esto no lo decía el Huffington Post.
Entonces en el Daily News, por primera vez pude ver la foto de Carey, que hasta ahora no he visto en el Huffington Post. Sin lugar a dudas parecía feliz en la foto, y sin lugar a dudas era de la raza negra.
La prensa sin excepción se está autocensurando, tiene miedo de decir que una persona negra ha hecho algo censurable por temor a que los llamen racistas. Esperan a que otros lo hagan y dilatan su cobertura sobre la raza persona si es negra.
Antes los periodistas reportaban las noticias sin ese temor que realmente tenemos que comprender.
Una persona blanca, latino y chino si hace algo reprobable y se puede reportar la noticia sin temor, con un negro hay el temor que el culpable sea inocente y los que protegieron al público de esa persona sean encontrado culpables.
Así que hasta cierto punto se entiende el miedo de la prensa regular, y cómo es lógico se entiende el silencio de la prensa cómplice que hace énfasis en lo buena que era la personas y hace énfasis en que no estaba armada, como si un auto no pudiera ser un arma si se usa para arrollar a propósito a una persona.
Creo que con razón el policía que cumplió con su deber de guardar el orden, no debe de estar muy tranquilo y un poco preocupado por su futuro.
No sabemos cómo la militancia negra va a reaccionar en este caso, quizás al policía este hecho le cuesta su trabajo y ser juzgado criminalmente. No sería la primera vez que pasa ni la última.
El hacer acusaciones de discriminación en cada hecho en que está envuelto un negro, esto es usar la baraja racial para avanzar una agenda eso es un puro racismo político. En algún periódico o en las declaraciones de algún militante negro oiremos la justificación de que los republicanos fueron los culpables del hecho.
La ausencia de racismo es el considerar al culpable, como culpable, sin importar su raza.
El racismo ocurre cuando separamos a las persona por su raza para perjudicarlos o justificarlos por el color de la piel.

Los estadounidenses están despertando al hecho de que no podemos permanecer un pueblo libre sin una economía de libre mercado. El gobierno, a través de Obamacare, está confiscando una sexta parte de nuestra economía de libre mercado, ño cual es un acto de socialismo y una pérdida de nuestra libertad.
Cada día el pequeño comerciante, además de tener que cuidar de sus clientes y su negocio, tiene que lidiar con el flujo constante de nuevas regulaciones de Washington-Se sienten amarrados con lo que en ingles llaman el “Red Tape”, el "papeleo burocrático"-.
Tienen que estudiar, entender y cumplir con capas y capas de regulaciones que aumenta progresivamente bajo esta administración y que están tomando la mayor parte de su día. Es agotador mantenerse al día con las normas cuando pueden cambiar sin mucho aviso.
Las inconsistencias a través de agencias y funcionarios burócratas pueden ser exasperantes.
Además los empresarios tienen que preocuparse Obamacare. Que es el papeleo burocrático elevado a la máxima potencia.
Obamacare está lleno de artificios, trampas ocultas o camufladas, enterradas bajo un alud de papeles y formularios, que son como zancadillas que plantean peligros y dificultades para los negocios y los estadounidenses comunes.
Los ciudadanos sienten que están perdiendo su independencia y su libertad, incluida la libertad de expresión. Hay que ver cómo la prensa no sólo ignora el problema pero es parte del problema al evitar al ciudadano de llegar a la verdad, editorializando el conflicto según su agenda.
La corrección política ilógica en la prensa distorsiona la noticia, tergiversándola, violando de esta manera la libertad de expresión y el proceso del pensamiento, todo lo cual crea desorden.
La mayoría de los estadounidenses no se conforma con perder su libertad.
El libre albedrío y la libertad de la nación son de Dios y son demasiado valiosos para ser sacrificados en el altar ateo de la corrección política.
Los medios de comunicación tienen el deber de mostrar respeto a las personas y parar la corrección política ilógica con el pensamiento retorcido y participar en un discurso lógico y simplemente reportar las noticias como suceden no participando en las noticias, no convirtiendose ellos en parte, jueces y propagadores de agendas partidistas a través de las noticias-

CLEMENTE SANCHEZ: LA NUEVA REVOLUCIÓN FRANCESA. OJALA APRENDAMOS PRONTO
Esto es lo que ha hecho Hollande, nuevo presidente de Francia, con tan sólo meses en el cargo (no palabras, sino hechos bien concretos): -Suprimió el 100% de los coches oficiales y los subastó. Lo recaudado se destinó al Fondo de Bienestar para ser distribuido a las regiones con el mayor número de centros urbanos con los suburbios ruinosos. -Ordenó enviar un documento (doce líneas) a todos los organismos estatales dependientes de la administración central en el cual les comunicaba la abolición de los "vehículos de empresa" desafiando de manera provocativa e insultando a los altos funcionarios, con frases como "si un ejecutivo que gana 650.000 euros año (equivalentes a 11.7 millones de pesos), no puede permitirse el lujo de comprar un buen coche con sus ingresos del trabajo, quiere decir que es demasiado ambicioso, que es estúpido, o que es deshonesto. La nación no necesita a ninguna de estas tres figuras". Touché !!! Fuera los Peugeot y los Citroen. 345 millones de euros salvados de inmediato, y destinados a crear 175 institutos de investigación científica avanzada de alta tecnología, asumiendo la contratación de 2560 jóvenes científicos desempleados "para aumentar la competitividad y la productividad de la nación".
-Abolió el concepto de paraíso fiscal (definido "socialmente inmoral") y promulgó un decreto presidencial estableciendo un porcentaje del 75% de aumento en la tributación para todas las familias que, netos, ganan más de 5 millones de euros al año. Con ese dinero (manteniendo así el pacto fiscal sin que ello afecte un euro al presupuesto), contrató a 59,870 licenciados desempleados, de los cuales 6.900 desde el 1 de julio de 2012, y luego otros 12.500 el 1 de septiembre, ingresaron como profesores en la educación pública.
-Privó a la Iglesia de subsidios estatales por valor de 2,3 millones de euros que financiaban exclusivos colegios privados; y con ese dinero puso en marcha un plan para la construcción de 4.500 jardines de infancia y 3.700 escuelas primarias, iniciando un plan de recuperación de la inversión en la infraestructura nacional.
-Estableció el "bono-cultura" presidencial, un mecanismo que permite a cualquiera pagar cero impuestos si se constituye como cooperativa y abre una librería independiente contratando al menos dos licenciados desempleados de la lista de desempleados, con el fin de ahorrar dinero del gasto público y realizar una contribución mínima al empleo y al relanzamiento de nuevas posiciones sociales.
-Abolió todos los subsidios gubernamentales a las revistas, fundaciones y editoriales, sustituyéndolos por comités de "emprendedores estatales"" que financian acciones culturales sobre la base de la presentación de planes de negocio relacionados con estrategias de mercado avanzadas.
-Puso en marcha un procedimiento muy complejo en el que ofrece a los bancos una elección: Quien proporcione préstamos blandos a empresas francesas que produzcan bienes recibe beneficios fiscales; quien ofrece instrumentos financieros paga una tarifa adicional: lo tomas o lo dejas.
-Redujo en un 25% el sueldo de todos los funcionarios del gobierno; en 32% el de todos los diputados; y en 40% el de todos los funcionarios estatales de alto nivel que ganan más de 800.000 EUROS por año. Con esa cantidad (alrededor de 4 mil millones de euros) estableció un fondo que ofrece garantías de bienestar a las "madres solteras" en condiciones financieras difíciles garantizándoles un salario mensual por un período de cinco años, hasta que el niño vaya a la escuela primaria, y tres años si el niño es mayor. Todo ello sin modificar el equilibrio del presupuesto.
Y, como resultado, mira qué SORPRESA! -La inflación no ha aumentado. -La competitividad y la productividad nacional se incrementaron en el mes de junio por primera vez en los últimos tres años.
Hollande ¿es un genio de la economía o un político con moral y coraje? No lo sé; pero cuánta falta nos hace gente así.

Arrogance is like a cancer. Once it lodges itself in the heart and mind, there's not much you can do as it begins to permeate the entire body with an inordinate sense of self-worth, significance, and position.
Lucifer understood this firsthand after becoming so enamored with himself he believed he was co-equal with the Creator. He lost his grandiose gig and earned a one-way ticket south to spend the rest of his days slithering around trying to entice mankind to join him in his misery.
Contemporary Liberalism is headed for the same fate as it elevates itself to unnatural heights, having nowhere but downward to fall. Policies like the Affordable Care Act (Seriously?), i.e. ObamaCare, highlight the arrogance of liberals who promote themselves to a place of superiority, telling us what we need and then redefining those needs as a "right." Life is a right. Liberty is a right. Pursuit of happiness is a right. Healthcare is not a right.
ObamaCare teaches us that liberals don't believe in true freedom or unalienable rights. Nor do they think we are smart enough to make personal decisions. Instead, they pervert the Constitution and misuse governmental authority to coerce us to do what they say is good for us. And then exempt themselves from their own laws.
They tell us to "move on, it's the law of the land." From lofty thrones they call those who speak out against ObamaCare "anarchists." With that logic, those who opposed once-legal slavery were also anarchists. Legality is not license for stupidity — unless you are a liberal.
Is it not the height of arrogance that liberals do not label as "anarchists" the crybabies attempting to repeal another law of the land, Citizens United? Their actions condemn them.
A trip down Memory Lane: Remember when global warming soothsayer and former V.P. Al Gore was caught with his lights on in 2006 when his 10,000-square-foot Nashville home used 191,000 kilowatt-hours of energy? According to Nashville's News Channel 5, that same year the average Nashville household used about 15,600 kilowatt-hours.
Hypocrisy incarnate: Liberals love to spend time demonizing rich people and calculating how to spread their money around. That is, unless you're talking about their money. According to Roll Call, seven of the ten richest members of the 112th Congress are Democrats.
Number 13, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), badgered 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to release his tax returns, but refused to do the same when McClatchy News asked members of Congress to release returns the same year. Incidentally, Romney had a higher tax rate than John Kerry did the year before Kerry ran for president. Secretary of State Kerry is Number 2 on the "rich" list.
Wasn't it Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), who said during the 2009 Baucus-Grassley jobs bill fight that it was her belief "that tax credits only go to people who are making money, and they generally keep it"? As Number 9 on the list, Feinstein didn't get there giving all her money away.
As surely as the sun rose and fell today over the white-capped Alaskan mountains I now call home, liberalism will fail. In the meantime the rest of us are charged with spreading truth and speaking with our vote in 2014 and 2016. Anything less is arrogance.

Patriots,
Today at 12pm noon local time we are asking Tea Party Patriots across the country to show up at their Senator's or Congressman's local offices. The media, the President, the Senate Democrats, the Ruling Elite is Washington, DC, and now MoveOn.org are trying to blame this shutdown on the Tea Party. The timeline of events over the last few weeks (seen below) shows that Harry Reid's refusal to compromise is what led us to this shutdown.
We can't let these people clog the airwaves with this rhetoric. The American people have consistently, poll after poll, said that they want Obamacare repealed and the House of Representatives (the legislative body that is supposed to most closely reflect the will of the American people) is doing just that.

Time Line of Continuing Resolution Debate:
Friday, 9/20/13 - The House of Representatives passed a Continuing Resolution that would fully fund the government (including things that Republicans don't like) while at the same time defunding Obamacare.
Result: House Republicans compromised on spending that we'd like to see cut in exchange for defunding Obamacare.
Friday, 9/27/13 - The Senate stripped the defunding language out of the House passed Continuing Resolution and sent it back to the House.
Result: Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refused to compromise.
Saturday, 9/28/13 - The House of Representatives added two amendments to the Senate revised Continuing Resolution to delay Obamacare for one year (far from what we were originally willing to agree to) and repeal the medical device tax.
Result: House Republicans compromised away from defunding to delaying Obamacare for one year.
Monday, 9/30/13 - The Senate stripped the two amendments from the House passed Continuing Resolution and sent it back to the House.
Result: Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refuse to compromise one inch on Obamacare.
Monday, 9/30/13 - The House of Representatives responded by adding language to the Continuing Resolution to delay the individual mandate for a year and to take away the health care subsidies Members of Congress and their staffs received from the Office of Personnel Management ruling earlier this year.
Result: House Republicans compromised away from delaying Obamacare for one year to delaying the individual mandate for a year and requiring that Congress live under Obamacare just like the rest of the American people.
Monday, 9/30/13 - The Senate voted to table the House passed continuing resolution.
Result: Harry Reid and Senate Democrats refused to compromise.
Monday, 9/30/13 - The House appointed conferees and sent a message to the Senate requesting a conference meeting to resolve their differences.
Result: House Republicans were still willing to compromise and reach a solution.
Tuesday, 10/1/13 - Midnight - No Deal is reach and a temporary shut down begins.
Tuesday, 10/1/13 - The Senate votes to table the House's request for a conference to resolve differences.
Result: Harry Reid and the Senate Democrats refused to compromise.
Tuesday, 10/1/13 - House of Representatives moves to start passing single authorization appropriation bills that need 2/3rds majority in the House for passage.

GARY DEMAR: Liberals Going Off the Rails Fearful GOP May Be Winning Argument
You can always tell when someone is losing an argument. He or she resorts to personal attacks and outrageous rhetoric. More often than not the tactic works since the general public is used to arguing in the same way.
California Democrat congressman George Miller repeatedly accused his GOP colleagues of waging “jihad” on Americans.
On PoliticsNation, a typical MSNC tirade show, Joe Madison, “The Black Eagle” who can be heard on Sirius Satellite radio, called Rush Limbaugh a “fat ass” for comparing programs like ObamaCare to “drug addiction.”
When you can’t deal with a person’s arguments, denigrate him or her. Look what they tried to do to Sarah Palin because she was connecting with the American people. The media destroyed her (at least they tried to), the same media that are propping up Obama and telling us how intelligent he is.
I know a lot of very intelligent people, many with earned PhDs, and I can assure you that I would not want some of them to run for political office. Intellect does not always lead to good policy decisions, especially when it’s power and control they want.
David Halberstam’s The Best and the Brightest was published in 1972. “The focus of the book is on the foreign policy crafted by the academics and intellectuals who were in John F. Kennedy’s administration, and the consequences of those policies in Vietnam.” The phrase “the best and the brightest” referred to President Kennedy's “‘whiz kids’ — leaders of industry and academia brought into the Kennedy administration — whom Halberstam characterized as arrogantly insisting on ‘brilliant policies that defied common sense’ . . .”
These so-called intellectuals got us into Vietnam, got more than 58,000 Americans and 1.5 million Vietnamese killed. The iconic scene of people desperately trying to escape by helicopter is a fitting image of what some of the “best and the brightest” can do.
You know Madison is worried since he brings up the issue of race multiple times. It’s always a winner in a losing argument. For the record, Madison is black.
“Let me tell you,” Madison said, “they just can't stand the fact that they've got a very smart, intelligent black man that has out-thought them, out-campaigned them, beat them twice without any controversy.”
He wasn’t finished with the race thing. “So here you have these folks who primarily live in these lily white congressional districts for the most part, and then they're trying to use black vernacular to try to sound like they're hip and that somehow Obama is just too black to be president of the United States.”
Could it not be said that Madison would support any Obama program because the President is black? Other blacks have said as much.
The programs to “help” blacks have been devastating on poor black and white families. Consider these comments from Thomas Sowell. For the record, Sowell is also “a very smart, intelligent black man” given the fact that that he has published 40 books and thousands of articles on numerous topics for more than 40 years:
“There has been much documented racial progress since 1963. But there has also been much retrogression, of which the disintegration of the black family has been central, especially among those at the bottom of the social pyramid.
“Many people — especially politicians and activists — want to take credit for the economic and other advancement of blacks, even though a larger proportion of blacks rose out of poverty in the 20 years before 1960 than in the 20 years afterwards.
“But no one wants to take responsibility for the policies and ideologies that led to the breakup of the black family, which had survived centuries of slavery and generations of discrimination.”
Dr. Ben Carson, also another black man, has been critical of President Obama’s policies. For his efforts, he was audited by the IRS.
ObamaCare is going to suck the lifeblood out of our nation. Fixing healthcare did not need a 2700-page law and more than 10,000 pages of regulations (so far).
When Henry Waxman (D-CA) was “asked by CNSNews.com whether he had read all 10,535 pages of the final Obamacare regulations that have been published in the Federal Register,” the congressman “asked in return whether it was ‘important’ the he read them, dismissed the inquiry as a ‘propaganda question,’ and did not ultimately answer.”
No one knows what this bloated program will do since almost no elected official has read the law or the regulations.
We don’t know if Americans will be addicted to the new government program like people are addicted to cocaine since not even the people who voted for the program don’t how what’s in it.

Víctima de los recortes por el paro del gobierno se declara en huelga acostándose en la vía pública.
Mujer tropieza en bache en la acera cuya reparación se había suspendido y quedó incompleta por el paro del gobierno.
Mujer se arrodilla pidiendo por la ayuda del gobierno suspendida por el paro del gobierno.
