Comienza sus actividades políticas como un NO VIOLENTO... pero en 1961, en la creencia de que las medidas no violentas no tendrían éxito, Mandela y otros líderes del ANC formaron Umkhonto we Sizwe (MK ) , un ala militante del ANC. Why have the rest of the Western countries not even heard about it?Pressure from Icelandic citizens’ has managed not only to bring down a government, but also begin the drafting of a new constitution (in process) and is seeking to put in jail those bankers responsible for the financial crisis in the country. As the saying goes, if you ask for things politely it is much easier to get them.This quiet revolutionary process has its origins in 2008 when the Icelandic government decided to nationalise the three largest banks, Landsbanki, Kaupthing and Glitnir, whose clients were mainly British, and North and South American.After the State took over, the official currency (krona) plummeted and the stock market suspended its activity after a 76% collapse. Iceland was becoming bankrupt and to save the situation, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) injected U.S. $ 2,100 million and the Nordic countries helped with another 2,500 million.**Great little victories of ordinary people**While banks and local and foreign authorities were desperately seeking economic solutions, the Icelandic people took to the streets and their persistent daily demonstrations outside parliament in Reykjavik prompted the resignation of the conservative Prime Minister Geir H. Haarde and his entire government.Citizens demanded, in addition, to convene early elections, and they succeeded. In April a coalition government was elected, formed by the Social Democratic Alliance and the Left Green Movement, headed by a new Prime Minister, Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir.Throughout 2009 the Icelandic economy continued to be in a precarious situation (at the end of the year the GDP had dropped by 7%) but, despite this, the Parliament proposed to repay the debt to Britain and the Netherlands with a payment of 3,500 million Euros, a sum to be paid every month by Icelandic families for 15 years at 5.5% interest.The move sparked anger again in the Icelanders, who returned to the streets demanding that, at least, that decision was put to a referendum. Not even that was enough. The current president, on seeing that Parliament approved the agreement by a narrow margin, decided last month not to approve it and to call on the Icelandic people to vote in a referendum so that they would have the last word.**The bankers are fleeing in fear**Returning to the tense situation in 2010, while the Icelanders were refusing to pay a debt incurred by financial sharks without consultation, the coalition government had launched an investigation to determine legal responsibilities for the fatal economic crisis and had already arrested several bankers and top executives closely linked to high risk operations.Interpol, meanwhile, had issued an international arrest warrant against Sigurdur Einarsson, former president of one of the banks. This situation led scared bankers and executives to leave the country en masse.In this context of crisis, an assembly was elected to draft a new constitution that would reflect the lessons learned and replace the current one, inspired by the Danish constitution.To do this, instead of calling experts and politicians, Iceland decided to appeal directly to the people, after all they have sovereign power over the law. Evangelio quiere decir "buenas nuevas" o sea darle las noticias a quienes no lo saben o no quieren estar conscientes de que Dios encarnado como hombre, Jesús, vino al mundo para pagar por los pecados de todos, para que el que aceptara este sacrificio se arrepintiera de sus pecados y fuera perdonado completamente, un regalo de Dios, un sacrificio vicario.
Esta es sin duda una noticia que no muchas gentes realmente acepta o quiere aceptar.
Ese es el valor y la razón de ser de las instituciones religiosas, el mantener vigente este mensaje.
Pertenecer a una institución cristiana no es ser miembro de un club social, ni de una entidad política, es la membrecía de personas que han aceptado el regalo del perdón de Dios.
Pero en las últimas declaraciones de clérigos y el papa, no vemos este mensaje, pero vemos un mensaje social y político que no se parece al evangelio.
Las obras de caridad, el mensaje social, viene como resultado de la aceptación del cristianismo, pero si no hay cristianismo no puede haber caridad cristiana lo que hay o una caridad por culpabilidad, o por motivos de recibir su recompensa con la adulación del mundo o de los votos en unas elecciones, por eso lo esencial para los clérigos es la evangelización no un mensaje político-social.
Pero lo que vemos predicando a estos oficiales de la iglesia, son unas filosofías que ellos pueden pensar que ayudan al pobre, pero que muchos pensamos que pueden perjudicar al pobre, y llevar a otros que no lo son a la pobreza.
Cuando el Papa hablas de filosofías económicas como la economía de mercado criticándola, no creo que tenga autoridad para decirlo como Papa, tiene su derecho como hombre a decirlo, pero también yo tengo mi derecho a creer que está equivocado, porque no es Dios hablando es un hombre..
Cuando Monseñor Carlos M. de Céspedes se convierte en un aliado del régimen de la Habana, no solo no tiene la autoridad divina para hacerlo pero está hablando por el Diablo no por Dios.

Cuando un clérigo se aparta de su ministerio, que es la evangelización, para emitir una opinión política no está representando la relación del creyente con Dios, está representando una filosofía económica-política está teniendo una opción humana a la que tiene derecho como hombre, pero no como representante de Dios.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Security Agency tracks the locations of nearly 5 billion cellphones every day overseas, including those belonging to Americans abroad, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.The NSA inadvertently gathers the location records of "tens of millions of Americans who travel abroad" annually, along with the billions of other records it collects by tapping into worldwide mobile network cables, the newspaper said in a report on its website.Such data means the NSA can track the movements of almost any cellphone around the world, and map the relationships of the cellphone user. The Post said a powerful analytic computer program called CO-TRAVELER crunches the data of billions of unsuspecting people, building patterns of relationships between them by where their phones go. That can reveal a previously unknown terrorist suspect, in guilt by cellphone-location association, for instance.As the NSA doesn't know which part of the data it might need, the agency keeps up to 27 terabytes, or more than double the text content of the Library of Congress' print collection, the Post said. A 2012 internal NSA document said the volumes of data from the location program were "outpacing our ability to ingest, process and store" it, the newspaper said.The program is detailed in documents given to the newspaper by former NSA systems analyst Edward Snowden. The Post also quotes unidentified NSA officials, saying they spoke with the permission of their agency.Shawn Turner, a spokesman for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, declined to comment on the report.The DNI's general counsel, Robert Litt, has said that NSA does not intentionally gather bulk location data on U.S. cellphones inside the U.S. — but NSA Director Keith Alexander testified before Congress his agency ran tests in 2010 and 2011 on "samples" of U.S. cell-site data to see if it was technically possible to plug such data into NSA analysis systems. Sur África es un país democrático con una economía de libre mercado tanto para empresas domésticas como para empresas extranjeras, y cuando tomó el poder no tomó represalias contra sus enemigos. Formó un gobierno de negros y blancos en un país con un pasado virulentamente racista..
Debido a eso hoy Sur África es el mejor país del continente, el más tranquilo y el más próspero del continente Africano que no se caracteriza por la prosperidad ni por la democracia ni la paz.
Hubo un éxodo blanco voluntario, el odio racial era mucho para aceptar a un presidente negro, pero los que se quedaron pudieron seguir viviendo en libertad para seguir con sus negocios y su vida sin opresión.

Pope Francis is undergoing a popularity surge comparable to the way Barack Obama was greeted by the world in 2008. And just as President Obama has been a disappointment for America, Pope Francis will prove a disaster for the Catholic Church.
My fellow Catholics should be suspicious when bastions of anti-Catholicism in the left-wing media are in love with him.
Much is being made of his ‘compassion’ and ‘humility,’ but kissing babies and hugging the sick is nothing new. Every pope in recent memory has done the same, yet only now are the media paying attention. Benedict XVI and John Paul II refused to kowtow to the liberal agenda, and so such displays of tenderness were under-covered.
Francis is beating a retreat for the Catholic Church, and making sure its controversial doctrines are whispered, not yelled – no wonder the New York Times is in love.

Just like President Obama loved apologizing for America, Pope Francis likes to apologize for the Catholic Church, thinking that the Church is at its best when it is passive and not offending anyone’s sensibilities.
In his interviews with those in the left-wing media he seeks to impress, Francis has said that the Church needs to stop being ‘obsessed’ with abortion and gay marriage, and instead of seeking to convert people, “we need to get to know each other, listen to each other and improve our knowledge of the world around us.”
This softly-softly approach of not making a fuss has been tried before, and failed. The Second Vatican Council of the 1960’s aimed to “open the windows” of the Church to the modern world by doing just this.
The result was the Catholic version of New Coke. Across the West where the effects were felt, seminaries and convents emptied, church attendance plummeted, and adherence to Church doctrine diminished.
John Paul II and Benedict XVI worked hard to turn this trend around, but now Pope Francis wants the bad old days to resume.
Proof of this is Francis’ aforementioned statement of the Church being obsessed with controversial issues and the need to rebalance by talking about it less.
That Francis didn’t see that this would be translated into headlines of “Pope tells Catholics to shut up about things that offend Sandra Fluke” by every left-wing media outlet shows a terrifying naivety.
Nor do his comments reflect reality.
For years, the majority of priests didn't dare cover controversial topics in their homilies in fear of getting angry letters from pick-and-choose Catholics outraged that their pastor dared to say something out of line with the Democratic Party.
Most parishioners therefore haven’t heard the Church’s argument on controversial topics. Consequently, usage of contraception is only slightly lower in Catholics than in the general population, and support of gay marriage is actually higher in Catholics than the general population. Perhaps talking about it even less isn’t the answer?
In trying to please the media and the modern world, Francis mistakes their glee for respect. Just like Obama thought he’d won over Putin by promising a reset, Francis thinks by talking vacuously about the poor, he will be respected. And it is vacuous -- the pontiff recently asked why it’s news that the stock market drops but not when an old person dies. When your leader is asking, “Why isn’t the newspaper a laundry list of obituaries?” you know you elected the wrong guy.
What effect is this having? For all we’re being told about how ‘disenfranchised’ Catholics are being brought back by Francis ‘reaching out,’ a recent Pew Research study showed that in America, the number of people who identify as Catholic has actually decreased. Lesson: rubbing the egos of Church-hating left-wingers doesn’t make more Catholics, it just makes the Church less respected.
Francis not only panders to enemies and professional grievance mongers, but also attacks his allies. Just as Obama snubs Britain and Israel, Pope Francis swipes at practicing Catholics.
So not only has he insulted, and severely damaged the work of, pro-life and pro-marriage groups with his comments, he has also gone on the attack, dismissing Catholics who attend the older rites in Latin as ‘ideologizing’ and being guilty of ‘exploitation.’ Apparently “Who am I to judge?” doesn’t apply here.
On world matters, Francis’ statements are embarrassing. About communism, a destructive ideology that slaughtered millions of Catholics, he said:
“Learning about it through a courageous and honest person was helpful. I realized…an aspect of the social, which I then found in the social doctrine of the Church."
Not such kind words for the free market, however. In his recent apostolic exhortation he slammed unfettered capitalism, calling it ‘a new tyranny.’
Apart from the fact that there is no major nation practicing unfettered capitalism (like Obama, Francis loves attacking straw men) there is more real tyranny in socialist cesspools like Francis’ home of Argentina than in places where capitalism is predominant.
In the document he rejects the free market and calls for governments to overhaul financial systems so they attack inequality. In doing so he shows himself painfully misguided on economics, failing to see that free markets have consistently lifted the poor out of poverty, while socialism merely entrenches them in it, or kills them outright.
Like Obama, Francis is unable to see the problems that are really endangering his people. Like Obama he mistakes the faithful for the enemy, the enemy for his friend, condescension for respect, socialism for justice and capitalism for tyranny.
As a Catholic, I do hope Francis’ papacy is a successful one, but from his first months he seems hell-bent on a path to undo the great work of Benedict XVI and John Paul II, and to repeat critical mistakes of the past.

Amenper: Las Negociaciones de Biden con los Chinos.
Las noticias de hoy sobre las negociaciones de Biden con China, me recuerdan una etapa de mi vida que hacía mucho tiempo que había desaparecido de mi memoria.
Cuando me encontraba estudiando en los Estados Unidos en los años cincuenta, el servicio militar obligatorio era el sistema establecido.
Entre nosotros habían veteranos de Corea que estaban estudiando con el GI Bill recién creado y los de mi edad que no habían servido todavía por ser estudiantes.
En caso de emergencia se reducían las excepciones y todos tenían que servir. Yo con mi visa de estudiante, también pudiera haber sido llamado aunque como extranjero tenía la alternativa de no servir y volver a Cuba, aunque me hubiera hecho inelegible para volver a residir al país.
La emergencia surgió cuando Mao amenazó con atacar Formosa en 1951, puso hasta fecha Julio 15. .
Fue la primera vez en mi vida en que un hecho internacional pudiera haber cambiado mi vida.
Todos respiramos aliviados cuando el Presidente Dwight Eisenhower no sólo tomó medidas directas para demostrar nuestro compromiso para defender la isla de un amigo, pero también dejó claro a los chinos nuestra determinación en la materia, y fue un ejemplo para disuadir a los soviéticos de involucrarse.
Estas palabras del ex comandante aliado supremo contra el eje, llevaron significativamente más peso que los de un organizador comunitario o de un Joe Biden.
Cuando se trata de disuadir a nuestros adversarios y los adversarios de nuestros aliados es la credibilidad de nuestro comandante en jefe, reforzado por las capacidades militares dominantes lo que hace la diferencia.
Lamentablemente, con demasiada frecuencia retórica de Obama y su conducta han erosionado la credibilidad de la nación en tales asuntos, resultando en cambios tectónicos en el orden mundial, la geografía mundial cambiaría si los Chinos controlan a todo el Oriente..
Me imagino que los Chinos están teniendo un momento de diversión en las entrevista con el sonriente Biden, sin lugar a dudas el un chiste pensar que Biden tiene la capacidad para negociar con los chinos algo tan importante como la paz y la hegemonía de China en el Oriente.
Sin lugar a dudas esto no es cosa de risa.
Los resultados eran predecibles y tenemos noticias sobre los resultados que nos hace estar mucho más inquietos que cuando el incidente con los chinos por Formosa o más tarde en 1964 cuando el incidente del Golfo de Tonkín.
Eran otros tiempos, era otra América, que extrañamos..
